The program was founded at SU in 2007 and over the past four years, has expanded to a network of business schools worldwide, including the UCLA Anderson School of Management, Florida State University College of Business, the Mays School of Business at Texas A & M University, Krannert School at Purdue University, College of Business, University of Connecticut and EJ Ours College of Business at the University of Louisiana. New treatment options are urgently needed for patients who do not respond or become resistant to agents such as anthracyclines, taxanes, and in many cases, capecitabine. So there is no proven effective treatment for these women, in fact, to date, there has been little or no data to guide oncologists in the choice of therapy and then the benefits were clear. Eribulin is a new chemotherapy drug, originally derived from a marine sponge that binds microtubules in a different way to existing chemotherapy.
