In need of Help Fast daughter surgery within next week gas cards/gift cards

Hi my name is brandy. I'm a single mother of a sick 2 month old daughter. She has to have open heart surgery at vanderbelt hospital nashville. I live on social security disability.I really am in need of gas cards I need around 120.00 in gas cards and money for the expense for food around 100.00 The gas stations here to vanderbelt are(shell,weigels,marathon)so any card for there.Even if you can not give the whole amount for the gas anything will help.We went to her cardiologist today and they are having her surgery within this next week.So I really needed gas to get her their. Also my daughter is in need of side snap(Kimono style) shirt for after surgery(6-9month)Even if you have used ones. Thank you for any help.
My Story
My daughter was dianosed with congenital heart defects.(ASD,VSD,ECHOCARDIAL CUSHION DEFECT,AND PULMONARY STENOSIS)I did not find this out till she was 2 weeks old and her doctor heard a murmur and sent us for a echocardiogram.She is on 3 medicines a day and has to take them 2x each. I REALLY could use gas cards for travel expenses They said today 6/23/10 that her surgery will be within the next week. So GAS cards are very urgent.gift cards for special cloths my daughter needs after surgery. I am on social security disability.My mother has a brain tumor and is unable to help do to her condition.Can send proof..Thanks so much for reading my story.

gas card for either weigels,shell,marathon.
or food vouchers for my stay while my daughter is in vanderbelt hospital(carol monroe childrens hospital at vanderbelt) I’m not sure if you can get gift cards for the cafe at the hospital or not.
Also my daughter needs kimono style onies(6-9 months) and we found them online at kate Quinn organics so maybe a gift card to their.
Any of these would help expecially the Gas cards. Thanks so much for any help it is greatly appricated.

The area we live in is not the best and being by myself with two young children,I would like some added protection. I would really like a better lock on my apartment door and some pepper spray.Also there is no fire extinguisher.

Hi-like so many others, I am a single mother of two wonderful boys, we were homeless and are now safe and sound in transitional housing. I do not have a car or a job yet but am working hard at making those two things happen. Also I just want to say thank you to all those who help others in need-your doing a tremendous thing!

Again-I am sooooo very grateful to you and feel very blessed that there are people like yourself out there in this crazy mixed up world. Over the weekend we had to call the police dept because of a “disturbance” at my neighbors apartment and it took the police an hour to respond because they were already in the complex with the paramedics, firetruck and 4 units at the building next to ours! So may God bless you a hundred times over for what you are doing for us! Thank you Jim!

Dear Jim, Where to start....First and foremost, let me just say “thank you” and God Bless you for the gifts! The printed card that you sent is a wonderful testament and I’d like to tell you that yes, I do know that verse by heart. I grew up in a good Christian home (lost my way for a little while there) but am on track again and feel I know Jesus much better than I ever did!! I have witnesses many miracles since becoming homeless a year ago! And I consider you answering my wish one of those many miracles!
When I received and opened your package I was amazed at the ingenuity of the gifts and their uniqueness in fulfilling the need for security that I have! We don’t have our car yet...so we do a lot of walking and that peppershot is just the right “pocket” size. The doorstopper is so cool and, well, at first I thought you threw in the salt shaker for “throwing over my shoulder” for luck......hahahaha. Silly me. Then I read your note as well and better understood.
So, thank you again! Please take care and know that I believe in paying it forward!

Hello my name is Kayla and Im 21 married with 2 kids. My babies is Damien hes 22 months and Chloes 9 months! Right now we are just trying to make ends meet. Our room mate just up and moved out on us a couple months ago and with me only working and my husband taking care of the kids we barely make it. In fact I dont know how we do it month to month. Right now my babies is just about out of diapers and miss Chloe is in need of some bigger clothes. I have no idea how we are going to make it through this month I had to miss 5 days of work to go to indiana becuase I had 2 deaths in my family within a day of each other. Please if you can help it would be GREATLY appreciated!!

I lost my home, my car, and I have sold almost everything I possibly can just to stay in my rental. I have no means of transportation and I have to rely on neighbors and friends to take me to the store or to the doctors. I have been without a car for 4 months now and I am beginning to go stir crazy. I don't need anything fancy, I just want a car that runs. I am willing to make payments, low payments, but I don't have big cash up front to buy a car and my credit has gone to you know where. A car would give me the transportation I need to get to the store and go to the doctors and maybe take my dog to the park once in awhile. My story will tell you how I got to this point.
My Story
This is not easy for me asking for help. I am really stepping out of my comfort zone here. I was a successful business woman for 23 years and then my world fell out from under me. I woke up one day feeling awful and after almost a year of doctors,scans, and labs, I was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia which has also spiraled me into depression. I have no health insurance, and I am going on two years now waiting for Social Security Disability to get approved. I was fortunate to have long-term disability benefits at my work and if it wasn't for that I would be on the street for sure. I live very modestly and do what I can each day to stay positive. I love my dog Founder, (in my pic) she keeps me going everyday. Thanks for reading my story!

in need of a single teenage mom to asist with my pregnancy.
My Story
I was so proud of myself when i finally let my ex boyfriend go. It has been 2.5 years since we have been together. A week later i found out i was pregnant. i imediately got him on the phone needing to cry to some one. When i told him, he told me he would pay for the abortion. i am currently 5 months pregnant and he he wants nothing to do with me or the baby. i am 18 years old and i have no one to turn too and no where to go. i really need a friend that can direct me away. i just need someone to talk to. i really need help with finding a place to live and a place to raise my baby. I feel so alone in the world and when i feel my child moving i cant help but cry.

My heart goes out to you and your unborn child. You will be blessed for choosing to keep your baby. Where do you live, what do you need? Do you have friends or family that can help. I don’t have much to give monetarily, but I can give you encouragement, maybe some direction, and a shoulder to cry on. Let me know what you need specifically.
